Friday!!

In answer to a previous comment. It's American football. We call European football...us yanks call that soccer. hehehehehe

Speaking of football, his team played again on Wednesday. We STOMPED them. 28 to 12 The poor kids though were playing in 27 degree weather with a wind chill of about 19. I made Kiddo wear a sweat shirt, his coat, then his football shirt over all that. He had his hat and his hood on. I can't let him wear gloves. He handles the ball alot, being the center, so he has to be able to feel it.

Today I went and got my nails done again. Red and Green sparklies with Christmas decals on them.

I gotta tell you something I found very very funny the other day. Just goes to show you that not everyone has heard "popular" sayings. (at least it was funny to me)
A bunch of us (friends, and Alekx who is family) were in Pogo playing a game, and chatting. One of the people was complaining. So I piped up with one of my most popular sayings that I use all the time and I said. Oh just put your big girl panties on and deal!!! (if some of you haven't heard this before, basicly it means "stop whining, grow up, and deal with the situation") I didn't realize this guy in the room had never heard of it. (the saying) So we are all in another game, and his score was low, and I go dr??? What you doing way down there?? He says, "I'm trying to get my fat chick pants on." Now I spit water all over my screen when he said that, cuz I realized he had no idea what that saying meant. Although a couple other people that were on the hefty side got offended cuz he was saying fat chick pants. We then spent the next half hour laughing at him and trying to explain the saying. He was certain it was some inside joke about heavy girls that he didn't get. hehehehe

Okay so maybe it's just funny to me.

I'm gonna go make the gerbils stop staring at me.

Did You Ever???

Did you ever have one of those days where your going to throw the phone across the room?? Not just throw it across the room, but throw it right at your husband, hitting him in the head. Then picking it up and bashing him over and over again in the head until he stops moving?? No?? Maybe it's just me. I swear why do men pick the time to fight with you when you are pms ing really bad???

I have received no less than 8 phone calls and had to make 6 myself in the past hour. All the straighten out my son's lunch ticket, and to straighten out the idiot who was supposed to fix Captain Daddy's heater, and to fight with the husband about something he should be doing but wants me to do.

I'm now waiting for D to show up with more stories. I finished typing and printing out 12 of his short stories. Some needed some major fixing. The man is brilliant with his imagination and story telling, except....he can't think of a single name for anyone. Like if a guy is a scribe, his name is scribe. Or if they are a warrior their name is warrior. So...he gave me free reign to name the characters.

On a side note, Kiddo's football team (Bronco's) slaughtered the other team (Falcons) on Monday. Kiddo took a few kids out himself. He's not fast or athletic, but he's built like a tank, and intimidating. He's bummed it's only flag football and not tackle. hehehehe

Survived

I'm hoping you all survived your long holiday weekend. We survived. We had a good thanksgiving day, but the inlaws did stay to long. hehehehe By 9 Thursday night I was ready for everybody to go home, and I wanted to go to bed.

I've been battling a sore throat all dam weekend. It's not getting any worse thank goodness, but it's not getting any better either.

We didn't get all I like to get done over this long weekend. Part of it due to Gigantor part of it due to inlaws. So...He's in trouble and now has to help me do it all after work each day. And...we have two football games this week.

I don't know why but I am so dang tired. More tired than usual. Of course I laid down to go to sleep at about midnight thirty last night and I couldn't sleep. At about 2 I finally fell asleep. I woke up with Gigantors alarm at 5. Kicked him out of bed at 5:20 because he kept hitting snooze and it kept waking me up. I didn't fall back asleep until 6:30, and boy was it a good sleep. Only to be rudely awakened by my alarm and my son informing me that I had to be up at 6:45 or else I wouldn't get him to school in time. grrrrrrr I hate it when you fall into an excellent sleep and have to get up just right after.

I of course tried to sleep in a couple of the days over this long weekend. To get some rest and maybe get rid of that sore throat. I don't know what it is, but every time I "need" to sleep in. Gigantor has to pick a fight with the Kiddo. I don't mean small fight, I mean ends up yelling and threatening, and him acting like a huge ass (cuz he acts 3, gigantor not the kid) and then the kid crying, and, more yelling and trying to blame it on me sleeping. Till I finally get up and beat them both.

Although on Saturday, the Kiddo did make one horrid wrong move. They left to go get Christmas stuff from up at our shed, which is in our other yard. And I fell asleep on the couch. I was awakened by Kiddo running in saying Gigantor was a big jerk, and Gigantor yelling at him to shut up. And then it happened. What no kid should ever ever do. As Gigantor is walking back out of the house, the kiddo snaps. "Why don't you make me" Now I don't care who you are, you don't say that to one of your parents when they have told you to do something. I heard Gigantor screech to a halt and come charging back, he grabbed him, swung him around and smacked his ass. Just once, but enough to wake up the dead. Even though it was the right thing to do, again it was lovely to be woken up by those two fighting. sheesh.

Okay I'm gonna go drink my coffee and eat my multi berry pop tart. hehehehe

Monday?????

I shaved my fricken eyebrow off. Not meaning to mind you. I was trimming my eyebrows, with one of those tiny little personal trimmers. (note: I have those old man bushy eyebrows) And I put the little guard on it so it wouldn't cut so short. Well this little trimmer is cranky, and the guard DIDN'T WORK!!! So..I get half way done with one eyebrow and realize, well nice it's gone, not a little short, but down to the skin gone. Well...after you do half of one, you are pretty committed, so I just had to shave the rest of them off. Now most women would be like. Oh well, I have eyebrow pencil, I can draw one in. As you remember me saying. I have thick, dark eyebrows. I don't now nor ever have needed eyebrow pencil, so I don't have any. I just got a bald brow line. hehehehhee

On Saturday we did all our big "Thanksgiving" shopping. We are in the store, and I guess I didn't notice that the leg of this cart was like bent in. Well I turned around to talk to Gigantor about turkeys, and was turning the cart, and the son of a bitch fell on it's side. Yeah!! And when it flipped over, the handle slammed me right in the spine of my lower back. The same spine and lower back that gives me so much problems and will incapacitate me at times. Man that shit hurt. I should have dropped to the ground and threatened the store. But I'm not into those stupid fake lawsuits. Oh well.

In other news. When one of those colored fruit flavored mini marshmallows (remember those) is shot through a marshmallow gun at high speed, one should duck. Not watch the confection flying straight through the air at a high rate of speed, headed straight for your open eye. You should close your eye, you should not let the sugary confection shoot your right in your open eyeball. It will result in lots of screaming, and crying, and rubbing of your eye, and whimpering. Yeah yeah I know, Gigantor is such a baby. Stupid man shoulda shut his eye. hehehe

Stop Poking Me

Me and Captain Daddy went and got our flu shots this morning. I was told I needed one cuz I got the flu last year. Let me tell you it was so miserable I don't want to do that again. hehehee

As soon as Gigantor gets home from work, we are gonna go shop our asses off for all the thanksgiving stuff. I want to get done so we can get this pig sty house cleaned for everyone coming over. Plus I like to put up Christmas decorations the weekend after Thanksgiving.

Gigantor got a free turkey from work. 17lb turkey. They brought one out for all the guys. I swear this new job is such a blessing. He has gotten more stuff paid for and more freebies in the 6 months his been there, than he did in the entire 12 years he worked at the other place. In 12 years, he got no retirement, crap ass insurance, 1 tiny pocket knife, 2 t-shirts, 1 sweat shirt and one jacket.
In 6 months he's gotten. Work boots, coveralls, 6 t-shirts, 2 polo shirts, 3 sweat shirts, 3 hats, a reversible winter coat, and a turkey.

Gigantor also went down to the Ford dealer, cuz we got a flyer in the mail that said you would get a free turkey if you test drove a vehicle. He decided he wanted another free turkey. hehehehe After he test drove they didn't give a free turkey, they gave a 10 dollar walmart card. That would be one very very small ass turkey from walmart. That's one thing about walmart I don't like. None of their meat is decently priced. I am not paying 4 dollars a pound for hamburgers, or your stupid 2 to 4 dollars a pound for chicken and turkey. Idiots. I will go to one of our two other grocery stores and get the stuff on sale. Bashas has turkeys for .47 cents a pound. In your eye walmart!!!! I refuse to buy meat from walmart.

Well I could ramble on and on about a lot of stuff that doesn't mean a dam thing. But I think I will go eat Breakfast and get my butt to the stores.

GOOOOOOOOO BRONCO'S!!!!!!!!

Kiddo's football team (Bronco's) is doing so well. They have played 4 games. Won two of them. The two they lost was only by 1 pt. grrrrrrrrrrr lol

He has an awesome coach that wants to teach them the plays and proper way to do it. And doesn't really mind if they lose, as long as they have fun. But man...some of these kids sports coaches are something else. They have been screaming, and yelling and accusing the other teams kids of stuff. So loud that you can hear them across the field. And some of the parents?? ahhhh Give me a gun to shoot them all. One got into a major argument with the referee. The referee just said, well I'll take this shirt off and you can do it from now on. The ref, said "That's the rules, if you don't like it, take it up with the city sports director." They are national rules, just get the frick over yourselves people. Not like it would have helped, it would have given them 2 pts and we beat them by 10.

I'm in a little better state of mind than the other day. I was able to find three of the things I couldn't before. And that is good, cuz two of them were pressies from Santa. I'm still highly disappointed about the one place though.

I'm definatly gonna have to guzzle me some coffee today. I've had the hardest time waking up. But then again, I've got another bad bad case of insomnia. blaaaahhhh

Well....I'm boring, and don't have much else to say. I'll go see if I can be smart assy on your blogs. hehehehe

Balloons, Fires, and Football

Well the guys did get to go up in a hot air balloon, not on Saturday but on Sunday they went. They almost chickened out. Being as moments before they were going to inflate their balloon, another balloon, started having problems. Touched down a couple times, then touched down and threw two people out, one of them being the pilot. As the two people tumbled out, the balloon shot 200 feet up in the air in about 2 seconds. As it shot up in the air, it caught fire. And the whole thing came down in a burning mass. Luckily with all the passengers, kids included, they only had on minor injury.

But....that scared Kiddo about half to death, and he didn't want to go for a ride after that. Captain Bill (the pilot of their balloon) went and talked to kiddo for quite a while, and Kiddo and Gigantor then went up for an hour or so. 12,000 feet up, couple miles all around our town, and the surrounding area. Fun stuff!!

Football season has started in town. Which Kiddo is doing. It's flag football for his age group. He is on the Bronco's GOOOOOOOOO BRONCO'SSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!

They had their first game on Monday. They didn't get skunked, but they did lose. The little girl on the other team ran faster than lightning man. hehehehe They play again tonight. Hope they do a little better. Oh man, first game and kiddo lost his dam mouth guard. I think each football season I have to buy like 6 or 7 of those dam things. Thank god I haven't invested in the custom made one's yet. Those are a couple hundred bucks, and stupid kid would have lost it already.

Okay well I'm gonna go order some boots for Captain Daddy. I'm gonna try to catch up on reading blogs as well.

Busy ass week

God it's been a busy ass week. With football practices, Halloween, taekwondo, delivering avon, kiddo's play (today), getting my nails done (tomorrow) and a meeting (tomorrow). I am ready for a nap after all that, but Saturday is gonna be so much worse.

This three days of the weekend we have a balloon regatta. They fly every day. On Saturday mornings, the locals can go out to their landing site and help them pack up. That gets them some freebies sometimes. So after Gigantor and kiddo do that in the morning. We are going to go to a huge craft fair this town holds called Christmas in November. Then there is a small one at one of the churches. A harvest craft fair. I would then like to take the kids to see the Matinee. It's supposed to be Santa Clause 3. After that gets out, and street fair will be started in some parking lots along main street. At 4 main street will be shut down for the charity ball roll. People purchase a plastic ball for 10 bucks (goes to local families, the money raised) They go to the top of main street (it's on a good sized hill), put all the balls in a cement truck, roll them around, then dump them out. The ball that reaches the end of main street first wins. The person that purchased that ball, wins some sort of big prize. I think it's half the money raised.

As the sun starts setting, they re close main street, and the people with their balloons drive up. As it gets dark, they inflate them, and periodically do the gas in them so that it creates a glow. That last for about 2 hours. People can walk up and down main street to see the 50 balloons displayed, to talk to the pilots, and to get trading cards from them.

let me tell ya I'm gonna be one dead mama come Saturday night.

I know it's only Thursday, but with everything going on, I don't see me posting till after the weekend. Have a great weekend everyone!!!!

No Tackle WHAT??

Kiddo finally got his football team. He's on the Broncos. yayyyyyyyyy I don't like that they just told them the team, and they start games next Monday. Doesn't leave alot of time for practice. Oh well...he has a good coach. And it's not tackle football. It's flag football. But we think some of the rules are ridiculous. I mean it's more of a game of keep away or tag. You aren't allowed to dive for the flag. If there is a fumble the ball just turns over to other team, no dog pile on the ball. Darn it.

I got the computer most the way up and running. I downloaded firefox. OMG I love it compared to explorer. It actually goes much faster, I love the tabs. And I don't have some little annoying things I can't get off of explorer.

I started a league with a couple friends. I like to go play games in pogo. Well you can go to this other site and get on leagues. Leagues run tournaments in pogo games. Alot of technical mumbo jumbo. But it's free and it's all fun. So...anyhow we started one, and I've been dinking with the pages, trying to find out how to put the graphics and other stuff on there. I've figured a couple things out. One with help of my sister. hehehehe

Go to parent teacher conferences, get great news. Then my computer crashes. I've had it in the computer e.r. for two days. Got it back and have had to upload everything again. What a shit storm.

I really really need a new computer or new hard drive. ugggghhhhhh

Now I just have to find someone with a Microsoft office disk and serial number that I can use to download again. It has outlook on it, which has my mail. hehehehe I can't even get my e-mail. Suck ass.

At least I'm on blogs. whoooohooo


Oh and on a side note....My child made straight A's!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! FIRST TIME EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Everyone do the happy chair dance with me.

Our conference was over in 5 minutes, he's doing so well.

I'm off to stab a pumpkin repeatedly (get that anger out baby) Pumpkin festival tomorrow!!!

Frequent Flyer

The tooth fairy needs frequent flyer miles!!! She did show up last night (or the hubby would be dead) But guess what happened today?? Kiddo lost another bunny humping tooth!!!! What the hell??? How many teeth can that kid lose in two months?? Obviously alot!!!
And get this....both his molars he lost, he lost them while eating bread.

I can't believe my mother in law. My husband works 12 to 14 hours a day, and every 3rd or 4th weekend. We have told her we will help here and there with stuff around their house. But we also told her that weekends were our only real family time. So...we had to even it out. She called up yesterday wanting Gigantor to work for her for 8 hours on Saturday and 6 hours on Sunday. She also wanted kiddo and I to come up and just hang out for that time period. Ummmmm not just no, but HELL NO!!! I don't have a problem with Gigantor helping, and us even going over for a few. But ain't no way in hell I'm going to "hang out" for 8 hours. And ain't no way in hell Gigantor is allowed to spend his entire weekends up there.

Well....I am off to kick somebody or something. I'm sure I will feel better then.

One pot of coffee later and I'm feeling a little less like murdering my husband. (he's been a pain about more than just the tooth let me tell ya)

I swear when are men going to learn?? How can they constantly be stupider than a box of rocks. You would think they would learn after 14 bunny humping years, that they have to be the best they possibly can. WHY CAN'T THEY LEARN NOT TO PISS OFF, AGGRAVATE, AND IRRITATE THE WOMAN IN THE HOUSE FOR THAT SPECIAL 5 FUCKING DAYS A MONTH????!!!!!!!!! They all deserve to be tortured and bleeding when they can't learn this shit.

Just to let you all know that Alekx made it here okay. We have been going through mom's stuff, and dealing with an issue with dad's health. (he is now going to be taking insulin) I will report more as I can. Probably not till the end of the week though.

Just thought I would throw out some randomness today.

Gigantor got off early yesterday, helped me mail packages, and do some chit. Got kiddo's hair cut, pictures are tomorrow.

Wished kiddo had his new glasses for pictures, cuz old ones are scratched and crooked. They told me two weeks so I wouldn't have them. They called. They were in yesterday. whooooooooohooooooooooooo

Alekx will be here on Sunday. YEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAHHHHHH BABYYYYYYYYYYY I MISS MY SISSYYYYYYYYYYYY

We will be going through mom's stuff. whaaaaaaaaaaa

I have a busy as hell day on Friday. Take kid to breakfast (told him I would).
Take him to school.
Go get hair cut.

Go to chiropractor finally
Go help him with homework, and make lists for stores.
Go to Avon meeting.
Home to yell at Gigantor for not going to a store while I was gone. hehehehe

Captain daddy is taking next week off to spend with Alekx. whooooooohooooooo

My mother never had any of her stuff in order. The state of Arizona and state of Texas could have taken her property. We sat on it real quiet for 6 months to see if they put in a claim on it. They didn't so we filed papers with a lawyer in July. I just now got the papers back. I now own the property where I grew up. YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS pant pant

Busy Days

Saturday's bbq went excellent. That is about all to say at that.
Friday had to go up to the inlaws, got stuck there till almost 9. ugggghhhh
Made Gigantor stay up and clean up for the bbq. Saturday he worked, and I made some stuff for bbq. Then took the boys to the matinee, then came home and finished up cleaning and stuff. Had a good time. About 14 people all total. Sunday we did some more cleaning up. And vegged a little.

Yesterday went out of town to take the kiddo to the dentist. He had a very good report from the dentist. Everything looks good. That broken tooth is almost all the way out and permanent one almost all the way in. So...looks good.

Then went to a pet shop (we don't have one here) got some supplies, and treats and toys for alot of the critters. Went and had us some lunch, then went over to Bookmans, a used book store. Must have spent a good 2 hours in Bookmans. Came out with a ton of books. I got 11 I think, Kiddo got 3, Gigantor got 10 or so, and we spent about 63 bucks.

Then let the guys go to a gun/sporting good store. The guy was so rude, they walked out. Captain daddy was ready to buy a riffle there, but they wouldn't even wait on him, so he walked out. CUSTOMER SERVICE DUMB ASSES!!!

We then went down to Cold Stone Creamery. We haven't had a cold stone ice cream in almost 2 years. So...we splurged and got one.

Went and got gas and came home. It's close to a three hour drive. We got home about 7 last night. I was dead tired. I wanted to go right to bed, cuz I did most the driving. I think Gigantor drove to one of the stores in town, and I drove rest of the time.
