School Starts Tomorrow ahhhhhhhhhh

That's how I feel about school starting tomorrow. I CAN'T HEAR YOU!!!

Okay you all know I hate having the kiddo go back to school, the getting up early, the him not being here thing. grrrrrr

Well...been a few days since I posted.

On Friday we ran a few errands, ended up with our Nephew (that is kiddo's age) We took the dogs to the vet, and went and got the rat dog her new tags.

We had some leftovers for dinner and took our bad selves to the late movie. I enjoyed it alot, so did everyone else. Hellboy 2. Lots of people didn't like it so I've heard, but I did. Oh well.

Saturday we took Kiddo to a different birthday party, and we did some more running around. We came home and did prep work for the dinner that night. Had aunt and uncle over. And Captain Daddy and our friend D.

We made like spaghetti sauce. I had two types, ground beef with lots of fresh veggies (tons of mushrooms) added. And one with meatballs and just plain spaghetti sauce. Then we did up Penne past (kiddo hates spaghetti noodles) And Kiddo and D had the meatballs, and the rest of us enjoyed the meat with veggies and sauce. We had cheese toast, and a nice green salad and watermelon.

The guys had me open my gifts after that. I got a new (well new to me) oven. One of the flat glass top one's. I've always wanted one of those. Gigantor found it at a storage shed sale for 100 bucks and Captain Daddy bought it for me. It is much better than my old one that had one burner out, a broken bottom drawer and sat crooked. hehehehehe

I also go the new Twilight saga book--Breaking Dawn. The new Kid Rock CD and two movies. Lost boys 2 and The Condemned. And D got me a gift card to a place in town called Gabcorp Games. They have lots of board games and magic cards there. So...it was all nice.

Then yesterday, we got up to Gigantor making breakfast on the new stove (it was so late it wasn't done till noon, so ended up being lunch) We watched half a sci fi movie we recorded but me and Gigantor fell asleep on the couch for a couple hours. After we woke up Kiddo came out of his room (he disappeared in there when we fell asleep) and we finished the movie. Then we made dinner and watched the Lost Boys movie.

I still like the first one better, but this one wasn't to bad. It said it had Angus Southerland in it. Is that Keifers son???? Just curious.

Well one of kiddo's friends--Big J is over today, like one last day of playing their asses off before school starts. I should go and take tags off all his school supplies so we can get them in his back pack.

Hope you all have a great Monday!!!!

Sounds like you had a great birthday! I am next in line to read Breaking Dawn, my sister bought this one so we could share ( I bought the other 3).
Funny how people like certain pasta, I mean, they all taste the same so I guess it is just a texture thing. I like all of them my husband doesn't like spaghetti noodles like your young un. Funny!
School starts here next week, we didn't get out until June so it was a short summer (snow days made up). It doesn't affect me anymore so I barely keep up with the dates these days.

Nope, it's is little brother. He kinda looks like his bro, don't you think??? I wish that Corey Haim had been it though.
My kids don't go back until the 4th of September, I think, but they didn't get out until the end of June.
A new stove rocks. I got a new one from my brothers uncle, almost two years ago. It is, was, and will probably always be only brand spanking new appliance. Well, I had a new washer in 91, but that is so long ago, it doesn't count anymore.
Before Uncle Neil bought us the stove, we had been frying stuff and using the bbq...for almost 5 months.
I need your addy, to send your stuff that has been sitting here for months...Oh do you collect Magic cards?

The new stove sounds great. The top needs some kind of special polish I think. I nearly ruined one at a condo I stayed at by using comet on it hehe.

Next time sign me up for some Lost Boys 2 and spaghetti with meatballs. I can't do the veggie thing in my tomato sauce. Glad you had a great weekend. My wife is working today so school must be starting again.

Sounds like a great birthday!
I have GOT to get into those Twilight books now, everyone is reading them!
Next on my list for sure.
Neat oven. But an appliance for a birthday is just sacrilege. LOL
School here doesn't start 'til early Sept.
Can I have a bowl of pasta with sauce, veggies, and meatballs, but hold the 'shrooms??? Eew. Hub loves 'em but for some reason I can't get into them so they go on the side around here.

This is a "form comment" to my blog buddies.

Poor old Bloggin' Babzy was all worn out so I had to kill her off and bury her in the "Garden of the Past" along with a few other characters, thought patterns, bad habits, and old shoes. In time I will be starting a brand new blog with a completely different focus and will send you the link.

Until then enjoy the rest of the summer my friend. Take care.

K--well to be honest I don't like spaghetti noodles either, I like angel hair pasta.

biddie--cool we didn't know if it was his brother or son.

just me--we are having to relearn the way we cook on it.

hammer--yeah it needs a special polish and you can't use cast iron on them.

corky--will make that right up for ya. I have to neutralize the acid in all the tomato sauces I make anyway.

crystal--that's so funny, we can never get enough mushrooms, onions or garlic. hahahaha

babzy--good to hear from you. Will keep an eye out.

Do you mean the ceramic top? Is glass top different?

I have one of those. After having it, burners look so dirty to me compared to the nice smooth surface.

You'll know what I mean shortly. Kewl present.
