Year in Review

I'm taking this idea from Tim's blog. He went back and put the first sentence to his first post of each month of the year.

January--Thank you everybody for all your nice comments about my tatoo's and my boobies (what else can be said about this) hehehe

February--I have nothing of interest to talk about today. (that's when I was packing my mom up to move) ( I think the words "boredom coma" were in that post)

March--Woke up in a good mood, but everything everyone did made you yell? (I was cranky that day I guess)

April--Man my Dogs are in so much trouble today. (they had raided Kiddo's easter basket and killed his chocolate bunny)

May--So kiddo and his friend J got to go to the carnival this weekend. (this was the story of how he beat that old ladies ass with the squeekie hammer....squeak squeak squeak)

June--Hiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii Well we made it. We are in Texas. Man, three states, two sunburns, one dinosaur museum, one shitty ass service motel, 5 fast food joints, two slaughter houses, one herd of antelope, multiple cows, horses, and squished armadillos and raccoons later. We are finally here. (okay the first paragraph was much better than just the first sentence)

July--31 days.... that's the magic number. Apparently 31 days is how long a little 9 year old boy can handle being away from his daddy and his home. (my babies melt down)

August--I'm home!!!!! ( you think I was excited to be home??)

September--I just thought everyone could use a good laugh. (my neighborhood hazard post)

October--Well Saturday we went up to the mountain to go pinon picking. (the title of that post was "pinons and flaming crotches" )

November--Well trick or treating was a success. ( I think I still have halloween candy)

December--Thank God that is over. All the political bullshit of the city fire dept crammed into one room, with the pretense of being a Christmas party. (self explanatory)

I just wanna wish you all a very happy and safe New Years!!! Please don't do anything stupid. I won't post for a couple days. Captain daddy has to leave on Monday and I will be cramming as much daddy daughter things in as I can. I always hate to see him leave. I want him to stay forever.

Anywhooo....HAPPY HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!!

The Vet Owns My Ass

Hi everyone!!! Did you all have a good Christmas??? We had a wonderful one. Lots of pressies, lots of laughter, lots of love. Had a wonderful dinner with Captain Daddy. Did some great after Christmas sales on Monday. Got wrapping, labels and cards all for next year. Tuesday, we took Buster to the vet, got Captain Daddies hair cut, went to post office, went to store to get some stuff for dinner, and went to the bank. I then came home and made stuffing, and boiled eggs, and made pecan pie and pumpkin pies. Gigantors parents were coming for dinner today, and he wanted to do a huge turkey dinner. So...Basically we had Thanksgiving all over again. I'm getting really cooked out. hehehehe

On Wednesday before Christmas I had to rush my cat into the vet. He had a toe nail that had grown curved under and had grown into the bottom of his foot, and it was all infected. So the vet had to cut it off, and give him antibiotics. 60 bucks I wasn't expecting. Tuesday we took Buster in (pointer/greyhound mix) He had been limping real bad, and I suspected it was the ligament that held the top bone to the bottom bone. It's called the Cruciate ligament. And yup, it was completely torn off. So he has this big 8 inch incision on his knee on his back leg. They have to remove the knee cap, and clean everything up, then build a synthetic ligament. Then they had to keep him in ICU for a good 24 hours. They were worried he couldn't walk very good and a little worried about his age. We went and got him about 2 this afternoon. OMG my poor baby. Gigantor has to carry him up and down the stairs. And he's on 6 antibiotic pills a day, two pain pills, and 4 joint pills a day. The pain and antibiotics for two weeks, then he gets his stitches out, then the joint stuff for 4 weeks, then we lower him to two a day for the rest of his life. Now brace yourselves. For my baby to get his surgery, and meds. Drum roll please. Seven hundred and seventy eight bucks. There goes almost all of Gigantor's Christmas bonus check. *sigh* what do ya do?? He's our baby too. So...like I said, the vet owns my ass. hehehe

I'll try to write more about the holidays later. I'll be on and off, still got Captain Daddy here, and we are having tons of fun. hehehehe

Off to the shooting range tomorrow and maybe to go see King Kong.

Happy Wednesday everyone!!!

Funny Merry Christmas

Well Captain Daddy did get in on time, and all is well. We have been running non stop. Walmart after he got in, to get kiddo, dinner, wrapping. Then today, Kiddo to party, then me and Captain Daddy went to Bashas, then Safeway, then home for a few (wrapping) then to get Kiddo, to get lunch and home. Made half of dinner, sold swing set, and got it out of here (so we can set the trampoline up). Went Christmas light looking, came home had dinner, watched a movie. Then wrapped all the rest of Kiddo's stuff, and stuff from santa. Only thing I haven't done is wrap a couple little things for in the stocking. Gigantor hasn't wrapped anything yet. Tomorrow Gigantor and Captain Daddy are going to the store to shop for me. I in the mean time get to boil eggs, and make 5 pumpkin pies, and cookies for Santa, and clean off the table, and vacuum. uggghhhhh

Okay on that note. I wanted to wish all my Blogger Family a very very very MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!!! I'm gonna leave you with a funny, and I don't know when I'll get back. Lots of stuff to do. MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!!!! I ADORE YOU ALL!!!!

Christmas with Louise

As a joke, my brother used to hang a pair of panty hose over his
fireplace before Christmas. He said all he wanted was for Santa to fill
them. What they say about Santa checking the list twice must be true
because every Christmas morning, although Jay's kids' stockings were
overflowed, his poor pantyhose hung sadly empty.
One year I decided to make his dream come true. I put on
sunglasses and went in search of an inflatable love doll. They don't
sell
those things at Wal-Mart. I had to go to an adult bookstore downtown. If
you've never been in an X-rated store, don't go. You'll only confuse
yourself.
I was there an hour saying things like, "What does this do?"
"You're kidding me!" "Who would buy that?" Finally, I made it to the
inflatable doll section. I wanted to buy a standard, uncomplicated doll
that could also substitute as a passenger in my truck so I could use the
car pool lane during rush hour. Finding what I wanted was difficult.
Love dolls come in many different models. The top of the line,
according to the side of the box, could do things I'd only seen in a
book
on animal husbandry. I settled for "Lovable Louise." She was at the
bottom of
the price scale.
To call Louise a "doll" took a huge leap of imagination. On
Christmas Eve, with the help of an old bicycle pump, Louise came to
life.
My sister-in-law was in on the plan and let me in during the wee
morning
hours, long after Santa had come and gone, I filled the dangling
pantyhose with Louise's pliant legs and bottom. I also ate some cookies
and drank what remained of a glass of milk on a nearby tray. I went
home,
and giggled for a couple of hours.
The next morning my brother called to say that Santa had been to
his house and left a present that had made him VERY happy but had left
the dog confused. She would bark, start to walk away, then come back and
bark some more. We all agreed that Louise should remain in her panty
hose
so the rest of the family could admire her when they came over for the
traditional Christmas dinner.
My grandmother noticed Louise the moment she walked in the door.
"What the hell is that?" she asked. My brother quickly explained, "It's
a
doll." "Who would play with something like that?" Granny snapped. I had
several candidates in mind, but kept my mouth shut. "Where are her
clothes?" Granny continued. "Boy, that turkey sure smells nice, Gran,"
Jay said, trying to steer her into the dining room. But Granny was
relentless. "Why doesn't she have any teeth?" Again, I could have
answered, but why would I? It was Christmas and no one wanted to ride in
the back of the ambulance saying, "Hang on Granny Hang on!"
My grandfather, a delightful old man with poor eyesight, sidled
up to me and said, " Hey, who's the naked gal by the fireplace?" I told
him she was Jay's friend. A few minutes later I noticed Grandpa by the
mantel, talking to
Louise. Not just talking, but actually flirting. It was then that we
realized this might be Grandpa's last Christmas at home.
The dinner went well. We made the usual small talk about who had
died, who was dying, and who should be killed, when suddenly Louise made
a noise that sounded a lot like my father in the bathroom in the
morning.
Then she lurched from the panty hose, flew around the room twice, and
fell in a heap in front of the sofa. The cat screamed. I passed
cranberry
sauce through my nose, and Grandpa ran across the room, fell to his
knees, and began administering mouth to mouth resuscitation. My brother
fell back over his chair and wet his pants and Granny threw down her
napkin, stomped out of the room, and sat in the car. It was indeed a
Christmas to treasure and remember.
Later in my brother's garage, we conducted a thorough
examination
to decide the cause of Louise's collapse. We discovered that Louise had
suffered from a hot ember to the back of her right thigh. Fortunately,
thanks to a wonder drug called duct tape, we restored her to perfect
health. Louise went on to star in several bachelor party movies. I think
Grandpa still calls her whenever he can get out of the house.

Thanks all

Thank you everyone for your advice. Here is the thing. I agree with a couple of you about having a tough skin, and rolling with the punches. Goodness knows that Kiddo has gone through some terrible bullying past couple years at school, and we have helped him work through how to deal with that. This is where I was falling into a problem. Since he has been bullied we always have told him how his family and friends are his soft place to fall. They are the people that accept you and don't say or do mean things to you. And K is supposedly one of his best friends, and kept doing it, even though Kiddo would ask him not to. I don't care how tough you think a kid needs to be, they should never ever have to undergo abuse and definitely not from the people that are supposed to care most about them. So...here is what happened. The more I thought about it, the more I came to a decision. I went ahead and called his mom. Just thinking it might be something that these dam 9 year olds go through. Still small children, but struggling to grow up, but not to fast. Confusing age. She said she would talk to him. After school, kiddo told me that he pulled K to one side. Told him that he didn't want called that anymore, not by his friend. And K goes, well I'm sorry I was only kidding. And Kiddo says, well sometimes kidding can even hurt a person. Kiddo says, if you wanna call me something, why don't you pick a better nick name like Tank or Bulldog or something (my ideas that morning, cuz Kiddo is build like a brick like his dad) So....K goes, Okay I'll call you bulldog, and I didn't mean to hurt your feelings, that's not what friends do. I was very very proud of those two for that. They were more mature than most grown ups.

I so very much appreciate the advice everyone gave me. But I do have one thing to say. I think children should learn there are cruel people out there (unfortunately) and they should blow alot of what is said off. But I will NEVER EVER EVER condone any kind of verbal or physical abuse or anything verbal or emotional that hurts a person from family or friends!!!! Those are the people that are supposed to love and support you no matter if you have three eyes, or are fat or skinny or pimply. A child should NEVER have to learn to "roll with the punches" from a loved one. And I will ALWAYS step in in that instance, even if it was my husband or my sister, or parents, and definitely it being a child. I would stick up for anyone one of them.

So...him knowing taekwondo, and the rep of beating up a kid 2 grades ahead of him. My son doesn't get bullied much anymore. (the bruiser) And now he has handled a bad situation with a good friend and it had a great outcome. Also the friends mom was informed so she could just tell her son, that, that was inappropriate behavior to do to a friend.

All is good. And I prattled on, so no funny story today, maybe tomorrow. hehehehe

Happy Thursday everyone. Captian Daddy will be here by noon!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! yayyyyyyyyyyyyyyy

Advice

I was gonna post that funny story today, but I will post it tomorrow. Right now I need some advice.

Kiddo has a friend named K. Him and K do alot together. They are tight. But K has started calling Kiddo "pudgy" yes Kiddo is a big boy, he's rather husky, but he's built like a fricken tank. He's got a little tummy on him though. He has told K that it hurts his feelings. But K will say, "I'm only kidding" and just keep doing it. I told him to tell K that sometimes even kidding can hurt, and to please not do it anymore. But...K still does it. He says he's only kidding, and that is what he likes to call Kiddo. Well...it's really hurting Kiddo's feelings. I don't know if I should let these two 9 year olds fix it. Or if I should, uggghhhh, call his mom and talk to her. What do you all think, should I make that call to his mom??? I just don't wanna be like "well your kid is calling my kid names and you better stop it" kind of thing. I think I can be more diplomatic than that. I just don't want to embarrass her or hurt her feelings either.

So...give me your 2 cents worth or advice. And no Alekx, running over K with my suburban is not an option. hehehehee

grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Stupid 2005!!!! I can't wait for you to be over!!! I'm so done with this year!!! All that stuff with mom. Hospitals, nursing home's, hospice, then not. What the hell?? Child breaking glasses 1 month after getting new one's. Child breaking tooth, and me have to get it fixed with no dental insurance. Stupid husbands boss changing insurances again. My fall in Texas. Friends parents dying. Hot water heater exploding. Vehicle breaking down couple times. Needing new tires. grrrrrrrrrr So...this month was going pretty good, and I thought. Whoooohoooo I'm in the free and clear. Christmas than new years, and we are good to go. NOT!!!!!!!!

Walk out to get in the suburban yesterday to go get Kiddo from school. Turn key---click click click, then nothing. CRAP!!! Turn key again. Nope nothing. DOUBLE CRAP!!!! Call Gigantor, he comes home, has to push the suburban out of the driveway, by himself, so he can get his truck in there with the jumper cables. Takes 10 minutes of his truck charging it before I can get it started. He tells me to get Kiddo, and not shut it off till I get home, then try to restart it after I get home, cuz it should be charged again. I'm late getting Kiddo. Way late, and he was worried and a little scared. Come home, shut off burb, turn key. Nothing. Not even the beeeeeeeeppppp of the seat belt alarm. TRIPLE FUDGE DIPPED CRAP!!!!!!!!!

Gigantor was supposed to come home from work, and we finish all our chocolate dipping, and making the goodie plates so we can deliver them tonight. But NoOooOoOoO he had to go up to Napa and get another battery and put the bitch in. Only bright side to all of this, was last time we got a battery we bought a 75 month battery, and it was only 24 months. So....we got it for free. Praise God. hehehee

So....I get my avon order and I get it all unloaded and written up and sacked up, and call the people so I can deliver before Christmas. Then we eat dinner, and get busy making the rest the stuff. Gigantor and I were up till almost 11 finishing making the stuff. Now I have to cut up 6 pans (10lbs or so) of fudge, and work on making the plates, so we can still deliver them tonight.

Oh yeah, and I still haven't done any wrapping. And as the little electronic countdown thing that Kiddo does every morning reminded us. JUST 5 BUNNY HUMPING, BREAK YOUR BACK TRYING TO GET EVERYTHING DONE, DAYS UNTIL CHRISTMAS!!!!!! Okay well maybe I added a few words in there. hehehehe

What are you all doing for Christmas dinner??? I think we are having ham, mashed taters, red eye gravy, poofoo, a veggie mixture (mushrooms, green beans, and adamome (soy beans)), deviled eggs, and rolls. And of course pies. hehehehehe Then on the 28th, Gigantors parents are gonna be in and he is doing a turkey, and wants me to make all the fixings like we did on thanksgiving. Dam, I'm gonna be cooking my ass off. LOL

Okay happy Tuesday everyone. I'm off to bang my head on the wall.

P.S. I have a really funny Christmas story I'm gonna try to post tomorrow or Thursday.

Food and more Food

We snagged this recipe from the food network, and tried it yesterday, and OMG it was so dam good. I'm gonna post the recipe at the bottom of the post here today. It was for Slow Cooked Sweet and Sour Pork. But it's not got a sauce or gravy like affair. It's more of juices if you know what I mean. Now on with the post.

What a busy busy weekend. I'll do a short recap as to not make this post to long or to boring. hehehehe Friday evening we went to walmart, and what a fricken nightmare. We found NOTHING that we needed. They aren't ordering new stock cuz they are putting anything new into the supercenter they built that doesn't open till Jan 31st. I told the manager he was an idiot to not stock stuff before Christmas, and that I was going somewhere else and they lost me business. I walked out. Gigantor and Kiddo in my tracks and the manager with mouth open.

Saturday, we got up and the boys worked on racking the pig sty of a yard, and sweeping the porch. I called them in and we ate, then took Kiddo up to party he had. Then Gigantor and I, went to the post office, dollar store (found more stuff than at walmart) and Safeway. Got the rest of the stuff for baking, and the kids at school decorating gingerbread houses. Came home and unloaded, then started putting stuff away. Gigantor left to go get the kiddo, and I worked on wrapping some gifts. After Gigantor got Kiddo, we had to get ready and go pick up his friend K and we went to the Parade of Lights. It was nice. Not as nice as last years, but still nice. After the parade we went and grabbed McDonalds, then came home and ate, and let K play till about 9. Took him home, got Kiddo in bed, then continued to clean stuff up around the house.

Sunday the boys were trying to finish the yard. I got the food in the crock pot. They came in and we all ate some brunch I guess cuz it was 11. LOL Then me and Gigantor got busy. Now keep in mind I have 1 mini loaf pan and 1 mini muffin pan and 2 cookie sheets. I know I know I need more. LOL We made 5 different types of bread in mini loaves. Pecan swirl, cinnamon swirl, banana, apple cinnamon, and date. Then three types of mini muffins, banana, apple cinnamon, and cranberry. I made some soft gingerbread cookies (not the type you frost). And we made 4 kinds of fudge, that ended up being 6 pans, about 10lbs. Plain, pecan, walnut, and macadamia nut. And....Kiddo comes running out of my room headed for the living room. He hits the kitchen floor, and continues to slide his way all the way to the living room. I'm like "what the hell" and get up to check him, and I start sliding all over the place. Gigantor is like "what the hell is wrong with you two?" and I start yelling COOKING SPRAY COOKING SPRAY (we had been spraying the pans over and over again for the cooking that the cooking spray sorta drifted down onto the floor. Well I had been sitting filling the trays for a while, and Gigantor in just one spot in front of the stove so neither of us realized it was all over the floor. Gigantor goes, "what the frick are you talking about" and heads toward me, who is hanging onto the chair trying not to slip onto my ass. And he does this bellow and his one leg goes one way and other the other way. Doing almost the completes splits. hehehee That cooking spray is dangerous stuff people. We then had towels all over the floor, scooching around on them till we got a break. We then swept the floor, and dried it, so it could be washed right. Then vacuumed, then Gigantor finished cleaning up the yard and porch. We clean up our mess from baking, have dinner, then after dinner we started our dipping. hehehehe We have that chocolate factory thing for melting chocolate. We got some cherries dipped and some big long pretzel rods, half just dipped and half dipped and mini dark chocolate chips and white chips put on them. We then get Kiddo in bed, feed the animals, do the dishes, take showers, put laundry in, and proceed to fold and hang our 12 loads of laundry that had been stacking up. We got to sleep about 11.

Tonight I have to finish doing the chocolate dipping. Regular pretzels, more cherries, vanilla wafers, and marshmallows. (we are gonna also dip some of the chocolate dipped marshmallows in crushed graham cracker for like a smores like effect) Then I have to do my Avon order also, and finish cleaning the front bathroom. Tomorrow I will put together the goodie plates and we will deliver them that night.

Anyhow on to that recipe that was so yummie and easy. Now it says a 3lb pork roast. But we had a 6 pounder, so we doubled everything but the potatoes.

Slow Cooker Sweet and Sour Pork

3cups cubed peeled potatoes (Idaho or Yukon gold)
1 cup chopped onion
3 pound pork roast, trimmed
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup water
1/2 cup ketchup
3 tablespoons red wine vinegar
2 tablespoons light brown sugar
2 tablespoons reduced-sodium soy sauce (we used regular)
1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper and salt.

Arrange potatoes and onion in bottom of slow cooker, Place pork on top of potatoes and onions. Spread garlic all over pork.

In a medium bowl, whisk together water, ketchup, vinegar, sugar, soy sauce, mustard, black pepper and salt. Pour mixture over pork.

Cover and cook on Low for 6 to 8 hours or on High for 3 to 4 hours.

We cooked our 6lb one for about 7 or 8 hours on high and it was falling apart.

Enjoy and happy Monday everyone.

Yup Alive

OH my gosh did my doc call it right or what??? He said I wouldn't even feel better or among the living till maybe Thursday. Monday I was begging to be put in the hospital I felt so bad. Tuesday, my fever was still raging, and I only got out of bed to pee and go get my shot. Yesterday I felt a little better, but still like I was under the wheels of a semi. Today I woke up, and OMG it was like a miracle. I'm not totally better by any means. I still have a cough I can't get rid of, and feel like I have a sinus infection. But no fever, and compared to the other days. You would think I was doing great. I hope I feel even this much better by tomorrow. I still have 4 days of antibiotics to take and two more days of the flu drug. My cough is the worst at night when I'm trying to sleep (and no cough drugs are touching it) but even last night it was better than other nights.

Let me just say, if I don't get busy on some wrapping soon. I'm gonna drown. I have mentioned before, I like to buy lots of little things, and I start buying for everyone in like July or August. I got all the stuff wrapped and mailed off that I had to mail. But I still have Kiddo, Gigantor, Captain Daddy (my dad) Gigantors parents, D, kiddo's teacher, kiddo's reading teacher, and Big J's families to wrap. uggghhhhhh LOL I have so much wrapping to do, and being sick, I'm like panicked that I'm not gonna get it done. Let me give you all a little bit of an idea what I have to do before Christmas.

Friday evening (so Gigantor can help cuz I still sick) Gotta go to walmart, get Christmas plates, decorations for a gingerbread house (for 27 kids to use) stocking stuffers for kiddo's class, gift for his gift exchange, and something to pull Gigantors parents gift all together. (thinking of getting a big bowl, with kitchen towel and potholder, and chilli seasonings, and crock bowls, and little packs of crackers and little things all in there) Saturday, have to clean up this pig sty of a house, it got bad since I was sick. Take Kiddo to a party at 1, go to the grocery store to get the last things for baking, and that evening go to the Parade of Lights after it's dark. Sunday we are gonna be making goodies for holiday plates. Making a bunch of mini loaves and mini muffins (have 6 different bread types) make 4 types of fudge, then gonna chocolate dip some pretzels, vanilla wafers, cherries, and marshmallows. Any ideas what else I could chocolate dip. I would strawberries or other fruit, but those don't keep to well after being dipped.
Monday my Avon order comes in. Tuesday, Kiddo's class is doing their gingerbread houses, and asked for help. I've never made one in my life. If I'm well...I'll go help, if I'm still sick, then I'm gonna bail. Wednesday, we want to have all the plates delivered by then at the latest. Thursday Captain Daddy flies in, and I have to bake for the school party. Friday, I need to hike my ass all the way to the back of the school carrying goodies, and gifts for teachers. Then at 12 go back and hike my ass all the way back there again, and help kiddo out with his goodies, gingerbread house, gift, and semester end stuff. Friday night I'm hoping we can all go Christmas light looking. And Saturday I will be baking pies and cookies for santa, and prep work on all the stuff for dinner on Sunday. Can somebody please tell me when I'm gonna find time to wrap???? ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh Maybe I can sleep wrap or something. heheheheh

Okay enough of a panic attack today. I'm gonna go eat my tangerines and take my medicine. Have a good Thursday everyone.

101.9

That's been my main temp the past couple days. I am so sick. I'm so sick I am beyond sick. I got a cough on Saturday. On Sunday night it felt like someone was sitting on my chest and squeezing my throat. I could not breath. It scared me so bad, that twice during the night I almost had Gigantor take me to the E.R. I thought for sure either I was having an asthma (which I don't have) attack or pneumonia. Monday morning Gigantor stayed home, and took Kiddo to school and me to the clinic. We he seen I was running a fever it scared him. Last time I ran a fever was when I almost died from bleeding internally for 3 days and had to have emergency surgery, but I digress. They then sent me over to the hospital. I was to get blood work up, an EKG, chest x-rays, and a flu test. Have any of you had a flu test??? OMG they take this wire with a scraper, and stick it up/down your sinuses till you feel it in your throat and ears, and they scrape. They had to do it to both sides. I have a very high pain tollerancy, and it made me cry.

The good thing is that the chest x-ray showed I do NOT have pneumonia. But I DO have a major flu bug and an massive bacterial infection on top of that. They put me on a flu drug that I take twice a day. I also had to have a shot of heavy duty antibiotics yesterday, and one today. (Gigantor had to take me back in for that cuz I'm so week) And they have me on oral antibiotics that are for pneumonia patients.

If any of you know me. I do NOT take naps. And I will NOT get out of my clothes into my jammies except at night. I never have. Yesterday, and today, after my shot, I came home and got in my jammies and spent the day in bed. I finally got up today to do the avon work I HAD to do, and pay the bills. And I'm writing you all.

I've had to have someone take my kid to school each morning, and pick him up. I've been so sick with the fever, and the flu drug makes you major dizzy. So...I'm dizzy, weak, shakey, and sick to my stomach from all the drugs and dizziness.

On the bright side, I'm glad I'm sick this week and not next, because daddy flies in next week, and I have to get everything for Christmas done.

Hope you all are having a good week. Please send good health vibes our way, and pray the boys don't get this after me, cuz it is pure hell.

Busy Days

Oh my gosh it's been busy today. It's 9 at night and it's the first time I've had to sit down and not be run run run.

After dropping kiddo off this morning. I went to the chiropractor and got my foot taped and he worked on my wrist and elbow (the ones I injured over the summer). Then I went and had my nails done for Christmas. I now have snowflakes, packages, wreaths, tree's, reindeer, and santa's on my nails. Got done with that at almost 1 and picked me and Gigantor up some lunch. Came home, inhaled lunch and went through some paperwork. Took off to the bank, then to get kiddo, then home again. Wrapped the present for the avon party, did my hair, put makeup on, did up all the raffle tickets I had, cut the brownies, made the food wraps, put jewelry on, and in amongst all this I helped kiddo with homework. We took off, and deposited Kiddo at a friends for the evening, then Gigantor helped me cary stuff into the Avon meeting. Did the meeting then went and found Gigantor. He went to deliver one of my avon orders, the post office, Safeway, and then Bashas. Found him and we came home and unloaded groceries. Now he is enjoying a nice hot cup of Thera-Flu, and we both are thinking about having cold cereal for dinner. I know I know the Avon party was a pot luck. Well one person brought rolls, the main lady cold ham, and one lady brought enough of a potato dish for about 4 people. And then my wraps and brownies, that was the only food there, and no drinks. grrrrrrrrrrr I hate that crap. So...we are gonna munch on something.

OOoOOO and my sneakiness came back to bite me in the ass. All these Christmas parties we go to say a gift not over 10 dollars. Well...in a small town that leaves you limited. So...last week at the fire dept party. We got these two cheesy tin candle holders that have the thing cut out, so you can see light through it. It was a reindeer one. Although I collect reindeer, I didn't not really want these. Yet they were brand new. So...the avon party said gift for no more than 10 dollars. So...me in all my wisdom. I wrapped these two reindeer, tin cut out, candle holders. Yay me. Well...guess what I got for a gift??? A cheesy Christmas tree, tin cut out, candle holder. lmfaoooooooo That's where life comes around and bites you in the butt, and laughs the entire time. I came home and showed Gigantor and we started cracking up. Well...the district manager gave us all a gift also. Guess what it was?? A cheesy Snowman, tin cut out, candle holder. OMGGGGGGGGGG I got bit in the ass twice!!! That is so funny, I might have peed a little. (although I don't know if that's from the laughter or not)

Tomorrow is gonna be a very busy day as well, but instead of drone on and on, I will tell you about it later.

Have a good weekend everyone. And be careful re-gifting this season. hehehehehe

My Stipples are Nicking out

Holy moley and Holy cow, and Holy shit. It took a drop in temp.

We went to the football game last night, and I made Gigantor sit in the truck since he was so sick. There is this dirt area off of the parking lot that if you have a 4 wheel drive you can pull right up to the fence where the kids play and have a front row seat. I was gonna get out, but Kiddo was great and said. Noooo just sit with daddy I can see you guys. So....we sat in the suburban, while they played. They got their butts stomped. I think they scored 1 touch down. I lost count after the other team got 4 LOL The kids on the other team were huge. Dam 9 and 10 year old steroid users. LOL

I hate getting up in the morning when it's still dark. You all know I am NOT a morning person. So...waking up when it's dark inside and out, is just fricken torture. Kiddo is the same way. It's gotten so bad that I have to have Gigantor leave a light on in the kitchen when he leaves, so it's not as dark when our alarm goes off. So...we get dressed, and Kiddo is eating breakfast, and I go outside to start the burb and get it warm. The sky is all pink cuz the sun had barely gotten up. Now sunrises may be pretty, but again, I'm not a morning girl. I prefer sunsets. So...seeing the pink sky just made me cranky. So...when we are ready we go out and start to school. Enjoying our drive, talking, and being warm. Thinking it's pretty cold, but we were okay. When the stupid ass, moronic radio guy had to come on and tell us exactly how cold it was at 7:50 this morning. (it always seems colder when you know the temp) 18 mother bunny humping degrees!!! IN ARIZONA????? WHAT THE HELL??? That is just not right. *stomping foot in a huff* Let me tell ya after the radio guy said that, my stipples instantly nicked out, and my vortex bra started sucking so hard, that it's not letting nothing in. I think my stipples are gonna stay this way for a few months. hehehehehe

We had corned beef last night, it was soooooo good, hit the spot after being out in the cold hehehehehe

Man I hate periods. Not the little dots, but the monthly icky one's us women get. I got cramps, and headache, and cramps, and bloating, and cramps, and crankiness, and cramps, and fatigue, and cramps, and feeling icky and depressed, and did I mention cramps. Now if I wanted to be really gross I could go into detail, but I decided to be nice this holiday season. (yeah right) hehehehehe

Okay go do something colorful today people!!!!

Crock pots, or is it Crack Pots

Well the kiddo is feeling better, but Gigantor is not. He's been working though.

I get woken up this morning to some massive crashing then cussing, then Gigantor coming in all pissed off. I was gonna make a corned beef tonight for dinner, so I needed the crock pot down. (I have one of those oval one's that has the ceramic insert) When Gigantor grabbed it, the handle broke off and it came crashing down ending up in a lot of little ceramic pieces. Gigantor ran to walmart and got another one. I don't like the color, but it was the only one they had. I had nice flowers and vines, and this one is chrome. LOL I also don't like how you can't set it on high for more than 6 hours at a time. You can set it on low for up to 10, but sometimes a person just needs high all fricken day. grrrrrrrrrrrrrr

I've tanked the warm side dish idea. I'm gonna make a big pan of brownies for desert, and some wraps for the side dish. Miranda reminded me that I have a wrap recipe. She gave me hers which was different, and I do want to try it. But I had most the ingredients for the one I make, so gonna do that.

Take flower tortilla, spread cream cheese on it. Put some diced black olives and some sliced green onions on it, then a layer of thin sliced roast beef (I use lunch meat) then roll up and slice in about 1 1/2 inch pieces. It's pretty and it taste good. I'm gonna have to be careful with the onions though. I tend to go overboard, cuz I like them. You can also add diced green chilies but I didn't have any. hehehehehe

We moved the gerbil cage to over here by the computer desk (so I could decorate for Christmas) and there was serious gerbil humping going on yesterday. They are starting to get good at it. And I think I have a hole burned right through my retna's from seeing all that porno. Don't you go blind watching to much. I need to make them a little privacy curtain on the side of the cage or something.

Although we laughed so dang hard the other day. We were watching them run around and I SNEEZED not a little ahchoo, but one of them that like vibrates the walls. When I sneezed it scared the crap out of the gerbils. One ran into the house, one fell off the hill of bedding they stacked up, and the third one jumped straight up in the air, almost to the top of the cage, and did a back flip. We laughed so hard, I think I pulled something. hehehehe

Okay football game tonight, wish us luck. Only two left. (thank god, it's freezing out)

Happy Hump Day all!!!

The House of Vomit and Congestion

That would be my house. Kiddo was up Sunday night with real bad vomiting. He was okay Monday morning. I'm thinking it was something with his dinner that didn't set well. He munched on tortilla chips then had scrambled eggs with cheese, covered in syrup. So....that's probably what did it.

Gigantor was feeling icky all day Sunday, so he didn't do shit he said he would do. Sunday night he was up all night not breathing and coughing, and the shit head kept me up. He stayed home yesterday and went to the doctor. Got 97 bucks worth of medicine. Decongestants, nasal spray and antibiotics.

Needless to say I got virtually no sleep on Sunday night. Boy and men are such babies when they are sick. I swear to God you guys. BUCK UP Good grief.

Can I just say brrrrrrrrrr fucking brrrrrrrrrrrrr Dam it's cold. And we have no clouds and sometimes that seems more bitter cold. It's been in the low low teens at night and only getting in the 20's during the day. I know alot of you have it colder where you are, but try living in 118 degree weather most the year, then go to low teens. My finger tips have fallen off from being so cold.

I got invited to a ladies (church) christmas party tonight, they are having homemade soup and bread. I don't think I'm gonna go. I know most the ladies that will be there, and they are all taking someone with them. (invite a friend kind of party) and the two people I invited couldn't go. And I sooo sooo sooo don't want to go in there alone, end up sitting alone, and be all alone dammit. That's not my idea of fun. So...yes for the first time in a long time I'm gonna be a scrooge and stay home with sniffling whining boys.

I have an avon pot luck christmas party on Friday. I still have no idea what to make for my side dish. I'm taking brownies for a desert. But no clue on the side dish. I don't want to have to go buy a bunch of ingredients, and I got shit on hand. hehehehe I would like to do something in the crock pot and keep it warm. But I have no recipe's for side dishes in the crock pot. Any ideas???? hmmmmmm anything????

Okay I'm gonna go try to be snarky and comment on all your blogs.

Happy Tuesday everyone!!!

Randomness

1 boy that spent the night last night.
2 boys that fell asleep right away.
3 o'clock when I went to sleep.
4 people going to the Christmas parade this morning.
5 errands ran after parade.
6 half hours Gigantor stalled instead of cleaning up the yard.
7 o'clock when we had dinner.
8 times I was ignored before yelling at people.
9 the time kiddo is supposed to go to bed.
10 the time Gigantor left on an ambulance call.
10:10 the time I struggled kiddo into bed.
11 the time I almost killed him for continually getting up every 2 minutes
12 the time it is now and he's still not asleep
28 times he's been up in the past two hours, telling me he can't sleep. Somebody better come save him, because I'm gonna knock his block off if he doesn't stop it and go to sleep.

Hope you all are having a good weekend.

Christmas Party

Thank God that is over. All the political bullshit of the city fire dept crammed into one room, with the pretense of being a Christmas party. I could go on books and books about all the crap, but nah, I'm gonna leave it alone. Lets just say all those people well get theirs in the end.

I have my Avon Christmas party next Friday. It's a potluck also, and I have no idea what to make. Any suggestions??? I'm thinking a side dish and a dessert, but I'm rather clueless right now. The baked beans at the pot luck last night went over way way well. I made one of those HUGE oval crock pots full. 4 large cans of beans, 1lb of bacon and a huge onion. and we came home with less than half of them. I might make up a batch of fudge for the Avon party, but can't for the life of me think of what I want for the side dish. I wanted something warm, but I have no clue. Brain farts galore here.

Tomorrow is the Christmas parade. That should be fun. Then they have something called "Santa's Last Call" It's the last craft show of the season. I think other than that, we are gonna be cleaning the yard, and putting up some Christmas lights. I got all my out of town Christmas cards sent out. If you didn't send me your address, please e-mail me and do that. hehehehehe it's me burfica over at that yahoo place with a dot com involved. Now I just have to worry about making the in town one's out, and delivering them. hehehehe

Gigantor every morning when he gets up at 4 (gads) he lets the three dogs out. And he makes them stay out till he leaves at about 5:30 or so. They usually come back in and snuggle down and sleep till I leave and put them out. (they have to stay outside while we are gone) Well....I heard Gigantor let them back in, then the old Bassett (Buck) starts pacing like he has to potty, so I get up and find out he has pissed all over the floor. These fucking dogs are pissing me off that they aren't going potty outside. They can be out for four fricken hours, and walk inside and go on the floor. I'm gonna start super gluing all their plumbing shut. grrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Anywhooo I didn't think I could get any more boring than the other day, and I was wrong. heheheh I've outdone myself.

Have a great weekend everyone!!!!
