I need about 5 more hours of sleep.

Your Unique Costume is Jeeves the Headless Butler

Off with your head!

Gosh I need about 5 more hours of sleep. Oh well.... We were busy yesterday. Captain Daddy came down and washed all his bedding. Then informed me he would be back down today to wash his clothes.

We looked through some magazines and laughed about some stuff.

Gigantor got off about 4, and we went out and ran some errands. Then I dropped him off at the chiropractor, and went and got Kiddo from computer club. We finished delivering some avon books.

Gigantors mom started a bit of crap when we stopped there, and her and I almost got into it. I looked at Gigantor for support and he had his head down. Let me tell ya, I'm gonna kill that boy.

Then later that night his mom kept calling and he started wanting me to answer the phone and deal with her. Ummm no you ass hole it's your mother, you do it. I did it with mine, you do it with yours.

I've just been rather pissy about the whole inlaw situation. I've worked with Gigantor for 14 years, to help him not feel so "stepped on" or "manipulated" And the past week it's like when we were first married. They say jump and he doesn't even ask how high, he just starts leaping. Right at this point I don't think he would stand up to them if his life, mine or Kiddo's depended on it. Which of course is gonna make us have a very heated discussion. grrrrrrr

Kiddo is using his old mutant zombie mask from last year, for halloween this year. We said we would dress him up in his camo and his utility belt and his boonie hat. Then he could be a mutant zombie soldier. hehehehe

What are you or yours going as for halloween??? What is your costume from the little thing at the top??

Come on people tell me, I need some excitement. I'm the boring one remember?? I'm sitting here eating a bowl of left over green pea's for breakfast. I need something more!!!! ahhhhhhhhhhh

Okay I'm done being loony, at least for this 5 minutes. Have a good Tuesday everyone!!!!

I haven't been good about blogging lately and even worse about visiting my favs but I'm here and I do enjoy your blog, Burfica.

Sorry about the inlaw situation.

Take care of you.

monica--it's okay we all can't do it all the time. Life gets in the way sometimes. You take care too.

The in laws thing can be a real mess.

The wife and I are both usually pissed at our parents most of the time and they really don't try to pit us against one another so it works out pretty well.

Sometimes you just have to lay it down and say:

"once you are married your wife and children supercede any blood ties"

Good luck!

I remember when my wife had to stand up to her step-mother shortly after we got married. The step-mother was trying to manipulate us by telling my wife that she was hurting her dad's feelings. One Christmas they had it out and now everything is just fine between us. I've been so lucky my parents don't pull any of that crap on us. Gigantor needs to have a knock-down, drag-out screaming and yelling match with his mother and let her know that he is NOT a kid anymore (even if he acts like one) and tell her to "BACK OFF or we withold your grandson from you!" That might get through... Oh yeah, he can't let her pull the guilt-trip crap either... That's a FATAL error! LOL! Good luck with that!

This year our old church is having an "alternative" event on Hallowe'en and we're going dressed up as Bible characters. I'm going to be Ceasar (All hail to me! LOL!), J will be Esther and T will be Miriam... I think! We'll see how this alternative event goes. If it's fun, we'll continue to go, if it sucks (which a lot of this church's activities do) we'll go back to trick or treating next year!

hammer---yeah my parents, well down to one, get exasperating, but we both get along with him fine, his parents and siblings cause us so much stress

Phoenix--I keep telling him he has to lay down the law, cuz if he doesn't I will, then I will make him choose.
We have a church that does something called Trunk or Treat and the kids go in the parking lot and play games and get treats. We try to do both.

My first husband (Rudi, but we call him deadbeat) and I had a lot of problems with his family. His mom was impossible. If we were grocery shopping together, she take food OUT of my cart if she thought that Rudi didn't like it.
She would show up at our house and kick our friends out of she didn't like them. She would buy stuff for us, or the baby, as a gift and then present me with a bill later.
He never stood up to her once.
We eventually went to counselling, just to deal with her. Our counsellor made us write up Rudi and Bridget's Bill Of Rights, which was basically a list of rules that she had to abide by if she wanted to continue hanging with us.
We got divorced anyway, b/c we sucked as a couple, but it really helped. Later, she and I became really close.
Dunno if that helps you. Probably not :)
I get along so well with x #2's mom that she more like a mom to me than either of my other mom's. We are still super close, years after Goof - oops - Geoff and I broke up.
As for you and your blog.
Love you, love the blog :)

My unique costume is "wardrobe malfunction" where I seemingly am going to display a rather large left breast to the world! LOL

Nate's going as a blue dragon... it's so cute!

Miranda--yeah Gigantor likes mine better than his.

Biddie--- I could get him to do that, but I couldn't get him to help me make them stick to it. Unfortunately. It was better with just his parents but one of his siblings and her family moved back. uggghhh

Jules--Kiddo went as a dragon one year, it was adorable.

I'm doing my nephews make up again this year, and might see if theres enough left over to go as a dead clown.
Sorry bout the inlaws, maybe you should just shoot them and feed them to the dogs.

The Boy is going as a football player. John Elway, to be specific, even though I'm not that big of a fan of the guy, or the Denver Broncos. It's just how it is.
